FVWM

Although old and not as funky as KDE or GNOME, the FVWM still has it's use and at least I haven't found a better alternative when it comes to efficient working. Nevertheless, some modern look also suits this windowmanager, so here you can find some themes.

Aqua

fvwm-aqua

My configuration of fvwm with an Aqua-like interface. It is based on several similar resources, such as fvwm-themes or fvwm-crystal, but only includes necessary stuff.

Just extract the archive and modify your fvwm2rc according to the supplied example.

Platinum

fvwm-platinum

A minor modification of the theme above is the Platinum style. Instead of images for the decor, it uses gradients. Also the buttons have been moved to the well known (at least for MacOSX users) position. The installation procedure is equal.

Clearlooks

fvwm-clearlooks

This one follows the opensource theme clearlooks for GTK+. The images for the buttons are from fvwm-crystal, although the colours are a little bit different. Furthermore, the icons and miniicons stem from the tango project. Osaka from Apple is used as the standard font. If it is not available, one should change the corresponding entries to Verdana or Bitstream Vera Sans.

Again, the installation is done by extracting the archive and modifying the enclosed .fvwm2rc.
