Results

In the following tables the benchmarks results are presented. Note that time-values are always given in seconds and memory-values in megabytes (1 MB = 106 B).

We also print a speedup number in the yellow fields. These numbers are the quotient of the time used on the reference system (E6000) divided by the time it took on the benchmarked system. If a benchmark was too large for the E6k, we extrapolated the results.

If a benchmark-result is missing (a "-" is shown), this is mostly due to memory-constraints on this machine or lack of multiprocessing capabilities (not enough processors / too many users).

On some machines, we were also not able to measure memory-usage (or didn“t have time to change the programs). But the usage should be about the same on all machines so please use the numbers on other systems as a reference.

To clarify some of the benchmarking-numbers, remarks are given below some tables in the gray fields.
